Pri 60 letih je v domovini za posledicami srčne bolezni v sredo umrl nekdanji španski dirkač formule 1 Adrian Campos, poroča hrvaška tiskovna agencija Hina. V F1 je Campos v letih 1987 in 1988 zbral 21 nastopov na velikih nagradah za Minardi, točk pa ni osvojil.
Po koncu dirkaške kariere, v kateri je nastopil tudi na dirki 24 ur Le Mansa leta 1997, je ustanovil moštvo Campos Racing, ki je bilo med drugim dejavno v formuli 2 in 3.

Leta 2010 je bilo njegovo moštvo blizu vstopa v F1, a je nato zaradi finančnih težav Campos nastopanje med elito motošporta odpovedal.
Leta 1999 je za njegovo ekipo v evropski seriji dirkal tudi zvezdniški rojak Fernando Alonso.
